Omaneko (おまねこ) is one of Japan's Air Self-Defense Force mascots, and when he was brought to my attention I knew just what I had to do.

Here he is doing a little showing off while lounging at his favourite observation spot. Turns out that having an audience is a little more exciting than he expected!
