Paralysis

I keep finding myself mired in this way. It hurts more acutely the harder I want to create.

Every time I learn and grow, it feels as if I meet myself with the stubbornness and apprehension to match.

Still, I'm determined to see this through. I'm not yet sure how, but I don't see this working out any other way.

I'm aware of the irony of making art to express an inability to make art, but this is a form of therapy that's free and available to me; so I'm going to continue using it.

I’m glad that you keep trying anyways, and that you’re able to get out some of that frustration with personal/therapy art! Hoping that things get a little more unstuck for you 3:

And also – things in your life/the world have been tough externally, too. I don’t know if it affects you similarly, but my ability to force myself to initiate things has been drastically lower given *waves paws at everything going on*. Like. It took me a year to buy a replacement car >.> for no reason other than I couldn’t make myself start looking x3
