Wolfie’s Streams – October ’20

A nice little smorgasbord of cushy foxes to be had from Wolfie's latest stream, as well as a bit of stylistic experimentation too.

Started out with a little warmup sketching of the dynamic duo; stopped at just the sketch before moving on to the first drawing on the task list, but I came back to give it a splash of colour. Quite the unusual thing to see in a batch of art from me; everything in this post is actually coloured and there's even a bit of shading in the final piece!

Wolfie had a pretty straightforward request for me to start out with, although the posing needed a little forethought to make it work properly. After I got it done, I thought a little narrative contrast would be fun to play around with, so I remade the scene with just a single change.

At least, a single change before the next, impending and unavoidable one of course.

With Halloween right around the corner, a little bit of cosplay and spookiness was due.

Having been primed into becoming a furry by Disney's Robin Hood, I wasn't about to shy away from a chance to draw a little fox giving props where it's due. The costume's also perfect for showing off what a cushy little fox he is, which is always a plus.

And although the original idea wasn't really meant to be so moody, I figured that a bit of contrast for the glowy bits would help highlight the main focus of the last piece I worked on for the night.
