Right at the tail-end of September, I applied and managed to get myself approved for a Stripe account! Many of you will know that I've been wanting this for a very long time, and it's extremely significant for my work to finally have that platform available to me.

Over the next few weeks I'll be integrating it into the site, and while this shouldn't affect most of you already pledging to me, it will be a definite upgrade to how subscriptions are handled. You'll hear more about that when the time comes, but for now, I just wanted to share the good news.

While talking about it earlier on, my friend Ihddn made a joke about being "Skunk enabled" now that I have Stripe, which inspired this little commemorative sketch.
