I ran a stream where, at the end of each Balatro run I played, I raffled off a free art slot for a winner to get drawn as one of the jokers I ended with.

Firstly we have the three cards from my two losses; three because Jake turned up as a second winner in the first raffle, and we agreed that it would be funny if I drew him as the Stencil - so, effectively, drawing him being decidedly not there at all.

This also includes Fiona as Throwback, and Alfador as Steel.

I then played one last blinder of a run that led to a big win, and James won the subsequent raffle. Egg was in play, but I convinced him to choose a more involved one. He went with Constellation, which I'm extremely pleased about.

Here's the most recent doodle pack finished from the end of last year. Some of these have been posted on social media but here they are in one place for archival and easy access.

Starting with the personal and somewhat emotional stuff, we have one that was inspired by a video that lived in my head rent free for weeks after it was posted and crossed my path. I had to draw myself as that tiny little puppy, cause I felt it.

The other piece was inspired by a predictably difficult time I was having in the midst of a good one, which was equally frustrating as it was upsetting to deal with.

Next we have a couple of pieces of game fanart which are strangely both horror focused and yet the resulting art ended up being completely tonally different. On the left, we have Blocks for Babies, a tetris FPS (you'll see); and on the right, an idle nightmare 2: SABBATH, a clicker game (trust me, it's good).

I will mention that the fanart of IN2 isn't based on any specific scenes from the game, but just something I imagined could have happened in the game.

Next, we have assorted stream gifts and raffle prizes, going in order;

FaerieAlex, Fiona, ShadeTavish, BlazingPelt, James, TrixterCat, and Plushie; Melody, Halley (ft. Arwyn), Dal and Pockets; Trixter's displacer beast; and another bonus Fiona.

Another batch of scribbles; some silly, some sentimental.

Myself, feeling pleased from the praise I was getting; TipTap and Arwyn, during a rather bratty exchange; Me comforting Millie (aka Malachyte) during a heart-to-heart we shared; and a redraw of a classic meme with me in it instead.

And last, but not least, some assorted but more detailed giftart for friends.

Arwyn, being her usual mischievous self; a rendition of a plushie that belongs to my friend Valk; and a drawover with me and Melody using an Animal Crossing screenshot she'd taken for a project of her own.

Thanks to my friend Crow gifting me the DLC, I recently picked up Sin Kiske in Guilty Gear Strive to main, both for some variety as well as options for counterplay.

After running some especially fun sets last night, I felt inspired to make something, and given that I'd drawn Chocolate as my first main Nagoriyuki, years ago, this felt like the logical next step.

Sin is.. a simple boy, with barely a malicious bone in his body. When referencing his character art I paid special attention to his blank, dumb, but absolutely sincere smile as an important feature to carry over. With how this made me feel, I realized how much "naive bunny idiot wielding a flag" just vibes with me; more than I expected it to.

Drawing myself this way made me realize I'd very much like to better embody that energy; "Think Less, Smile More."

Also, that I didn't think I'd get so much out of some rough cosplay art.

Last night, I ran a stream where I took quick mini sketch commissions to help me get back on track given that I've been struggling a fair bit lately. These were "15 minutes or to completion, whichever's latest" slots. While the short slots did stretch my abilities a tad, I'm quite pleased with the results across the board.

We did have a predominantly crinkly set of requests for the overall session, but a nice variety of themes and poses still. In order, these were for Trixter, Wintie and Fiona.

Next, we have a few more kinky lewds. Blaze and James in order, who were happy to pander to my other interests.

Lastly, I snuck in a slot for myself to draw another quick little thing for my puppy Arwyn, cause she'd been very actively supporting me earlier in the day. We've been playing GGST together for a while and since she mains BedMan, I figured it'd be cute to merge her with Delilah, the girl who accompanies him. I'm really happy with how it turned out, though I think I went over the allotted time by a fair chunk.

So I do this thing where I keep one big file for my quick and simple, cheap and cheery doodles and sketches that might not warrant their own entire project file. Every now and again I refresh the file with a new copy, and post all the pictures at once for your enjoyment.

I took my time with this latest one, but since the file reached 450MB and was literally slowing down Clip Studio I figured it was high time I made the batch post and start afresh. Here they are in no particular order, just grouped in a way that made the most sense to me.

Here's a handful of one-off drawings I made for Plush, Feef, and James. The first two were warmups, while the other was inspired by James being his usual self - as depicted - during one of my Discord hangouts. What started out as a bit of a silly joke actually led to me digging up some preg art I'd done that I honestly still really like and am genuinely proud of.

Last weekend I stumbled upon this adorable tweet while I was having an especially bad day, and decided I'd make some silly vent art to get it out of my system. It turned out cute enough, but as a point of advice in future; don't make self deprecating jokes when you're already feeling bad. People might just agree with you.

Fortunately the art didn't go to waste, as I was later inspired by a silly TikTok that my friend Melody shared with me. I reprised the little doodle in a different context, and I think I like it a lot better that way.

I still think that I'm a little bit stupid, though.

Next we have some assorted silliness and/or one-offs I made for myself or in the context of other conversations.

First we have a transparent template of myself being shown something worrying, taken from my Easter comic;

A redo of an old display pic I'd been using for nigh on 20 years, as part of my broader transition process;

An illustration for my friend Shivers' silly tweet asking how C++ would wear pants if it could;

And a cutesy, perfectly innocent little Soul Choco and the post that it was inspired by.

Games! I like them. I made some fanart and self-insert designs based on the adorable game Vividlope, and a little drawover using the demo of the upcoming castle building toy Tiny Glade. I'm especially pleased with how cutesy Ruby turned out in Vividlope's style.

I'd been meaning to do some drawover art using one of these building toys, but I was always reluctant cause it feels like my default style doesn't fit well within the rendered spaces. I think it looks alright, but it could've been better somehow.

Next, lots of Melody bunnies.

The first is based on a conversation between her and Robin, where she threatened to drink the Coconut Nair soap and Monster she'd shown off to us. It's genuinely one of the most unassumingly conflicting thing I've drawn, cause every time I look at it I love how adorable they both look... But that little bunny is soon bound for the emergency ward.

We also have some cutesy doodles of the bun in less compromising positions.

Here's a couple of sketches I made for my friend Cashmere, who I got to know recently.

A hug to comfort them after a moment of worry, and some fanart of the little tinsel plushie red panda they've been taking on a trip with them, named after the nickname that I coined for them.

And as a treat for looking through this whole post, a bonus Ruby pleasuring herself.

So a few nights ago my friend Fiona mentioned one of my favourite classic games, Rez, and at that very instant I was taken back to my memories of its rather unique peripheral called the Rez Trance Vibrator.

It did exactly what you'd expect it to (CW: IRL panty shots).

Moments after indulging in that little rabbit hole (cough), this idea came to me (cough cough). The next day, I spent the afternoon making it. If I'm not mistaken, this marks the very first time my girls have interacted with each other in sexual ways. It was only fair that Soul Choco got let in on the fun as well - it makes perfect sense that it'd be there to enjoy the vibes (and likely help with them too).

And honestly... I'd say this was a perfect fit for the lot of us. I adore just how pretty we all are.

I'll admit to feeling like there's some of the anatomy that I might've done better and could go back and fix, but to have completed a coloured three-character piece in a single afternoon is no small feat and it does the job perfectly well as it is.

A select few of you looking at this post might have been a little surprised by the difference from the versions I showed you, but that was all part of the ruse; you just weren't looking at it with the right eyes.

Here's another version I shared with some friends that didn't show Soul's presence, but there was no way I could leave it out. There's also a subtle change I made to one of my girls that I included in this piece from a new development that happened just today, and it's a little easier to spot in these versions.

I've been slowly accumulating random drawings that never made the cut for a bigger post, and some I even forgot I'd even made. Yes, that happens, scary as it sounds, although that shouldn't come as much of a surprise if you know me well at all. I'll be taking steps to remedy it in case it has happened more times than I've realised, but in the meantime, enjoy this smattering of unrelated artwork.

First up is the oldest of the bunch. Earlier last year, my friend Tiff pointed out an upcoming game called Beastieball, which has so much going for it and everyone who has even a passing interest in Pokémon games should absolutely check it out. What looks to be its "mascot" monster, called Goldie, is an absolutely gorgeous design and I had to draw fanart of it. Which I then proceeded to forget about completely.

I later remembered and unearthed the drawing from my pile of files after my friend Ihddn was playing the demo on my Discord server, and following a few touchups I got it exported and queued up. Still quite fond of this one!

Next up is a twofer of unprompted giftart. Someone in another server I frequent was showing off their new bunny plush and so, needing some warmup fodder, I decided to draw it for them.

Later I gave it a quick recolor for my friend Mel, cause he's into plush TF and I could do that.

Last but not least, we've got this beauty.

Don't ask how or why I made the connection from that absurd car sign to it being an Engrish tube-top design that a trashy, extremely pregnant Ruby would wear. But that's what happened and that's what I ended up making. Enjoy! (?)

Here's an assortment of art recently inspired by a variety of events I've enjoyed in my different hangout spots.

My friends Robin and Mishka, who've been active on my Discord server as of late, are really cute and fun and funny too, and I like them very much. Here's a couple of silly drawings they inspired with some similarly silly interactions while hanging out.

This all started with Robin consistently greeting Mishka in such a wistful way ever since she joined, and since I wanted to draw something for both of them anyway, this was perfect for me to tick several boxes all at one go (props to my friend Ihddn for coining "scentpai," it was perfect).

I was hanging out with Robin in voice while working on the above sketch, and she was exceptionally slow on the uptake (sorry sis, but you were) with realizing that I was drawing her as a surprise. At one point I said I was "waiting for the other shoe to drop," anticipating her reaction to the drawing, and when she finally did, she blurted out "Oh, I'm the shoe!"

The way she said it sounded exactly to me like this line from Extinction Party, which then inspired this silly thing the very next day. I love ENA, and drawing myself in that style was such an absolute blast. We couldn't stop laughing about it.

A little while prior, I'd picked up Lethal Company to play with my friends Wolfie, Piter, Mel, and Plushie - the latter pictured in this recreation of an unfortunate but very, very funny and abrupt learning experience that she had while playing together.

Last but by no means least, a couple of cutesy things. One's a doodle of FaerieAlex, my little friend and charge who I often babysit online - looking rather flustered for whatever reason - and my own rendition of the absolutely adorable piece of giftart my friend Robin made me for my birthday.

Sometime towards the end of Kinktober, I had the vague recollection that I'd heard the name "Kintobor" before.

So I searched for it, and the idea basically wrote itself.

I resolved to make this as a little reward for when I completed my perfect, hardcore run of Kinktober, but somewhere in between taking a week off to rest, and then taking two more weeks off to recover from being deathly ill, I forgot about it.

Well, I remembered it again a few days ago, and then decided I wanted to draw something for myself a few nights later.

Anyone who's followed my work or watched my streams for any amount of time will likely know that I'm a huge fan of the Metal Slug series.

A while back, I noted the idea of drawing my OCs as members of the game's crew, and here they are; just a quick little project to fill in some time and keeping myself in practice while feeling low on motivation between things.

Choco always looks like a different character without glasses on and I love Ruby's glee at wielding her massive-ass handcannon. It was also super fun to dust off Isaac and Yas again after a longish hiatus from drawing them.
