I was inspired by a Twitter post made by Melody daring artists to draw their characters in a cute but admittedly rather minimalist outfit. The diaper was implied.

I improvised a little by making the overalls into a skirtall, for purely functional reasons as I'm sure you'll understand. Ruby seems to be having a little too much fun skating but luckily for her, she came more than prepared.

Around the middle of last year, I had a series of stressful events trigger a very real sense of crisis in me. This is that feeling put to paper, if only so I can both put it behind me and always remember where I'd gotten to from neglecting myself for so long.

In hindsight, the actual issues seem like they should've been trivial, if only a tad frustrating, but given that they caused one or more panic attacks (I wasn't aware of it at the time) it rightly gave pause for consideration, particularly as to why I reacted so adversely to them.

Following some reflection, communication, and lots of therapy, I've gotten to where I am today. While there were many other factors leading up to it, I consider this one event to be the turning point when dealing with my personal identity and considering my transition. I certainly could've benefitted from therapy a long while before then, but I wouldn't have known how to make the most of it without having experienced that crisis first.

Thinking back, there's a lot of what-ifs that spring to mind, but it's not worth considering it any more. I've committed to my path, I feel happier than ever, and at this point there's no better way for me to go than forwards.

This is an immensely personal and emotional piece I made on a literal whim during a stream a few weeks back - to the point where I actually set out to make a completely different picture when I started working on it.

Inspiration struck while I was laying down the lines to compose the piece, and the poses I ended up with seemed to resonate more with this idea than the one I set out to make. I've uploaded a detailed timelapse of the process on YouTube, which you can watch here.

You know that I usually like to go into detail about what's going on in a piece and, wherever appropriate, what its significance is. In this case, however, it's not something I feel prepared to talk about just yet. Hopefully soon.

Mark fell afoul (quite literally) of someone with a strong grasp of the occult and black magic, finding himself victim to a curse that turned a deep desire against himself!

This was a fun little experiment with colour. By skipping the blocking stage, I could focus a lot more on polishing the props and detailing, then used the shading to add some depth and mood to the setting.

The last reward pack contained a sketch involved in the creation of this piece, since I mistakenly put a lot of detail that ended up getting discarded.

This is two of Arvetis' characters from his stories. It was really interesting making the anatomy work properly without overlapping in the same space. Unfortunately I didn't have time left for adding colour, but I think the monochrome look adds to the feeling conveyed.

Ihddn asked me to split their reward slot in two, dedicating each half (~40 minutes) to making something based on a song they gave me. 

The first painting, inspired by Chevelle's "Jars," has a very grim feel to it, and tries to capture the lyrics in their entirety - somewhat literally in some cases. It resonated with me on the theme of the current state of our environment, though because the concept I had in mind was a bit too ambitious, I had to scale it back to finish in time.

The second, inspired by Starset's "Halo," was more simplistic and symbolic in its concept, look and feel. The music video also played a considerable part overall. I may have been too subtle with the contrast, but the colours play the greatest part in this piece.
