ChronoKitten commissioned this absolutely precious scene with their fursona, and honestly, I feel the idea really speaks for itself.

Their original request included a mirror and there being important details to be shown from both sides of their character, so I suggested this front-and-back view based off of that, and I'm very glad they were in favour of it too.

I don't often get to do this kind of scene, and since I used it to evoke a similar vibe in one of my personal pieces, I've been wanting to do more of it. This was a genuine treat to make.

Last month's stream had a bit of a novelty included; something new that will be revealed once I've made some preparations for it. Other than that, it's more of the usual cute and cushy fox and dog, with a bit of bunny - mommy flavoured this time - thrown in too.

With our latest stream session we got to do a lot of cute stuff, one of which was requested by Wolfie, and the other by Ru. The jumprope scene made me very, very happy while making it.

So here we go, back on the road again - from three years ago to the day as of last week, I've mustered up the courage to work on Happy Campers again. I'm excited for it, I hope you are too.

Going into this I'd like to try and manage expectations with it a little bit if I can; one of my major hangups with restarting Happy Campers was the risk of another years-long hiatus for whatever reason. The reality I'm faced with is that my output isn't as quick or consistent week-to-week or month-to-month as that of other artists, but I didn't want to disappoint people with what might seem like a bait-and-switch if I don't manage my work and maintain the comic for long enough to see it through.

In other words, I want this just as badly as anybody else does; it just feels like there's a fair bit riding on it and I hope I can do it right. Thanks for your patience.

Ruka's giving his all to get you excited for the big game! This has been a really fun little commission for me; I don't often experiment much with movement and more dynamic poses, and the creative process was a little off the beaten path for me too. I'll be fully shading this one too, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Remember Happy Campers? Yeah, I certainly haven't forgotten about that project, and I still have every intention of picking it up again.

I made this during one of the Christmas streams with Austin and Russel, slightly aged up, and in fancy dress. Maybe it's a teaser of what's to come?

I don't want to lead people on with promised dates and predictions cause I have a lot going on right now, but just for the time being, take this post as a way for me to say that Happy Campers will be back.
