I enjoyed celebrating Christmas with a handful of close friends at Never's place this year. While making plans, some of us ganged up on and teased her with the idea of making her a child-friendly dish using the different parts of the meal being served.

She seemed really upset by this, to the point of threatening to throw a tantrum if we decided to pull such a stunt.

So I knew I had to draw it.

I asked her friend Tower, who was doing the vast majority of the cooking, if this could happen; they'd already made plans.

So I made this as a birthday gift for the fussy fewwit, to commemorate and immortalize the occasion.

Happy birthday, Sissy.

Looks like whoever gave me that pacifier didn't expect me to do anything, since it was going to do it for me anyway.. I guess we'll see where this leads in the next illustration, too.

So, when I made "Buzzy Bunny" for Quicktober, I literally forgot that I'd already made the sketch for this one..

I polished it up with a splash of colour on stream after I realized this, and people watching felt the strange sense of deja vu since I'd also worked on the Quicktober version of it on stream.

Needless to say, I was in a bit of a mood at the start of the month..

I'm currently flying back home from a stay in the States to attend BFC. It was wonderful, and I'm excited to be back home where I can put my newfound energy to good use and make all sorts of new and fun things for y'all.

During the internal flight back from the con to my little sweetheart Fae, where I was staying for a while, my playlist landed on the song "Mother, I'm Here," which resonated with me powerfully (and is essential to the enjoyment of this piece), to the point of tears. It inspired an idea, as music is wont to do, but I didn't have the time or energy to tackle it at the time.

On the transatlantic flight to my layover in Amsterdam - which is where I'm preparing this post - the song came up again, and I was not about to let inspiration pass me by a second time. Luckily, I had my new sketching kit with me, and an empty seat beside me, so I set myself up to draw.

I hastily scrawled the lyrics down, fruitlessly attempting to choke back my tears again, and split the song up into pictures to go with each stanza.

My dearest Mommy Garnet was certainly at the forefront of my mind when I first heard the song, given the pointed lyrics and the fact that I have a room set aside for me to stay in at hers, but there are so many people in my life now who are eager to welcome me "back home," despite how far away or long I've gone. This is why I changed "Mother" to "Lover" in the sequence, as she is also very much that to me, too.

This gift I now have is, in no uncertain terms, something that I have sought out for my entire life, and as hard as it is to say goodbye each time I leave one home to return to another, the fact that I can do this at all is something that I cherish and value in ways that words cannot do justice.

And that is why I spent a couple of hours on my flight home feverishly drawing this, and uncontrollably crying nearly the entire time.

I took the photos on the plane to add the sense of immediacy and context of travel to the final piece, almost as if it were a performance in itself. However, this did make the sketches a little harder to read, so here are some clearer shots of each page to try and help with legibility.

My latest return home has once again proven challenging to me, and last night was especially difficult. I decided to stream and work on some art that came to mind while I was struggling, and I'm both very pleased with the results and feeling better for having made them all.

First we have one that sums up my issues with pursuing what it is I want for myself. I struggle with asking for things in the first place, so when it becomes a problem then I don't even know where to start.

One stylistic detail that ended up being a little too subtle in the final piece to easily notice is that I used a different brush for the linework in either half - I felt like they helped further convey the feelings held within me that the dialogue and posing might not have on their own. I also realized halfway through the process that I actually hadn't drawn kid chocolate exactly on model, and looks more like a midpoint between the two of us. I didn't bother "fixing" it since that has plenty of implications that I think elevate the piece even further.

Next is this one, which captured the vibe of more recent experiences, such as this weekend's.

Given the above context, I think it should speak for itself.

I don't know where to even begin with this one, so perhaps I'll just start at the end?

I don't think it'll come as much of a surprise to many of y'all, but I've recently come to terms with the realization that this "seasonal egg thing" I've had going for me for a while now plays a greater part of my identity than I initially gave myself room for, thanks to some recent, related experiences.

Similarly, my history with playing intersex and "herm" characters was also a lot more significant than I thought, and has likewise been on a slow build since then. Transitioning has definitely thrown a spanner into the works, and this has offered me some clarity and direction that I didn't know I was needing.

I have a lot more to say about both of these things after the art, but to keep it brief;

This is me; I'm an Easter Bunny, and I am Salmacian.

This has been on a predictable slow boil for many, many years now, ever since I set myself on this path with the name and species I chose ages ago. A chocolate rabbit is bound to have a strong association with Easter, and the rest becomes pretty predictable from that point.

What seems to have been the final nucleation point was during a visit to my friend Plushie, who her partner Secret was also with at the time. They both had many plans for me, one of which was Secret giving me a set of egg-bearing and egg-laying hypnotic triggers. Given that I've thought about this for as long I have, I've had a very specific idea of what that should be and feel like for me for quite a while.

Needless to say, it was very effective, and left quite the mark.

These illustrations depict what it felt like the night of the session, at a point where I was beyond capacity; and then the morning after, when I was reflecting on what ended up being a fairly religious experience for me. It's very likely that the stretch mark markings will be a permanent addition to my realsona too, but I'm still feeling that one out a little.

During the session itself, while I was laying my eggs, Secret guided me to imagine which passage they would come out of. While I've been rather flexible about that sort of functional anatomy in my art in the past, to my mind it wasn't as simple as anal nor vaginal, but a third configuration. Granted, it could still be counted as the latter option, but there was another part of me that was still present, but unaccounted for. Their suggestions about the eggs pressing up against my clitoris didn't sit quite right with me, and I knew what that meant.

I've toyed with my fursonas being intersex and "hermaphrodites" (which I understand is an antiquated term, but also still meaningful within our community) in the past, but that ended up getting buried in recent years for a variety of reasons. Revisiting it in this way unearthed a lot of very strong feelings that I hadn't realized were this significant to me - which is why I will always maintain that allowing this form of self-expression is not just important, but essential, even if one doesn't openly identify the same way that they present themselves. They just might, sometime down the line.

With that all having been said, there's another subtle detail from these views, which is nevertheless a significant one - this is the first time I've deliberately, intentionally drawn myself as Salmacian. You can see my pussy peeking out from behind my cock in the second part.

I'm not yet sure where it'll lead or how I'll get there for right now; perhaps plans for surgery, perhaps not. But this is definitely something I've also been thinking about much more intently ever since I began transitioning and I can't deny it's appeal - I just need to know for sure if it's right for me. It certainly feels that way for right now.

Either way, you'll be seeing more of these parts of me very soon, and a lot more frequently, too.

A little while back I posted about Drifty needing some help with an emergency financial situation, and through the help of several of you kind donors, my friend Gem, and a boatload of commissions, we've met and surpassed the goal to both reclaim the amount stolen, as well as cover an unexpected bill that they received since then.

Star commissioned this cute series of diaper change scenes from me a while back, and I'm happy to have finally gotten it done.

I'm especially fond of the little bit of storytelling we worked into the series, given that it's one of my favourite things about his fursona too (his influence on others, to be specific). Keeping them uniform from one set to the next was a fun little exercise in execution, too. The last set is even based on a bed in a friend's guestroom I once had my diaper changed on.

My friend Drifty ran into a spot of trouble with some scammers, and needs help from the community.

I've been on a rather special adventure with my Mommy - and now Owner - Garnet, recently, and I made this the day after we arrived at her mother's place.

I wanted to both depict and commit to memory how it felt to be so wholly allowed and strongly encouraged to openly be a puppygirl across our whole train journey, and treated as such at the same time. It was so fulfilling and validating, from being given commands and treats over the course of the journey, to ending up curled at her feet against her lap, in her mother's living room, while they spoke in a language I don't understand.

For my participation in the first two sets of Little Troubles, I got to join a self insert regression piece for the third set, Roll for Regression.

Several other artists contributed art of their own characters as part of a before-and-after adventuring scene, and for mine it made perfect sense to include Chocolate as an Illusionist Sorcerer. As part of the design process, I based the adult armor and staff off of actual items from Guild Wars to start with; then infantilised the kit for the second part, which was a lot of fun. The way the illusion special effects turned out inspired what her class would be after being regressed, which I just made up.

From Femme Fatale Mesmer; to Padded Little Bubblemancer.

They might look fairly harmless next to the mind magic, but even so I wouldn't let those bubbles get too close.
